President Maia Sandu announced a funding of 130 million dollars from the USA for the construction of the Strășeni–Gutinaș power line, strengthening Moldova's connection with the European network.

The non-reimbursable funding of 130 million dollars will support the construction of the high-voltage power line Strășeni–Gutinaș, which will extend over 190 km, connecting Moldova to the European electricity grid. This initiative, along with other projects such as the Chișinău–Vulcănești line and Bălți–Suceava, represents an important step in ensuring the energy security of Moldova and strengthening economic relations with the USA. Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of this investment on social media.
