A roof torn off by the wind fell on a person on a street in Târgovişte

On Monday afternoon, a person arrived at the hospital after the roof of a building in Târgoviște was torn off by strong winds and fell onto the road, trapping the victim underneath it.

The firefighters from ISU Dâmbovița are intervening to remove other pieces of roofing and fallen trees, in conditions where Târgoviște and Răzvad were under a red alert for storms. The victim was extracted in a state of consciousness and was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. The firefighters' interventions include clearing some detached roofing elements on Independence, Union, Vasile Voiculescu, Vlad Țepeș, and Calea Câmpulung streets, as well as some fallen poles in Târgoviște and Răzvad.

The authorities continue to monitor the situation and intervene in the affected areas.
