After receiving an email with threats related to explosive devices at polling stations for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova, the Romanian Police initiated checks, concluding that there are no indications of real threats. Authorities in Chișinău announced that bomb alerts have been reported in several European cities, including Bucharest, and emphasized that these incidents are part of an attack by the Russian Federation on the electoral process. Romanian institutions are collaborating to ensure the safe conduct of the vote.
