On Saturday afternoon, residents of the neighborhoods Zamora, Poiana Țapului, and Piatra Arsă in the Bușteni resort, as well as those on Victoriei Street in Azuga, Prahova County, were left without drinking water. This situation arose due to the increase in turbidity of the raw water at the Azuga Water Treatment Station, which led the water operator, Hidro Prahova, to temporarily suspend the water supply. The estimated interval for this interruption was between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, but there is a possibility that the deadline may be extended. Company representatives emphasized that the resumption of water supply will be gradual, once the operating parameters of the system stabilize. This measure is necessary to ensure the quality of the water distributed to consumers.
