The reliquary with the Holy Relics of Saint Cuvios Dimitrie the New, the Protector of Bucharest, was brought today, October 29, to the National Cathedral in Bucharest, where it was placed for veneration in the Holy Altar. According to the Romanian Patriarchate, the reliquary will remain at the National Cathedral until November 5, 2025, at 24:00, during which time the faithful will be able to pass through the Holy Altar to venerate.

During this period, the veneration program will be extended, allowing access for pilgrims even during the night. After the conclusion of this period, the reliquary with the relics of Saint Dimitrie the New will be returned to the Patriarchal Cathedral "Saints Constantine and Helena" on the Hill of the Patriarchate.
