At the National Cathedral in Bucharest, thousands of people gathered to worship at the Holy Altar, forming queues that stretch to the Constitution Square. The waiting time is estimated between 6 and 8 hours, according to a statement from the Romanian Patriarchate.

The cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation, was consecrated on October 26, attracting an impressive number of worshippers. Authorities advise visitors to prepare for long waiting times and to respect the instructions of law enforcement. The cathedral will remain open to the public until October 31, and the number of pilgrims has significantly increased, reaching over 80,000 people. The worshippers waiting are supported with sandwiches and water, similar to previous pilgrimages.
