The price of diesel decreases by 68 bani per liter, announces Bogdan Ivan

Bogdan Ivan, former Minister of Energy, announced on Facebook that starting from 24:00, diesel will decrease in price by 68 bani per liter, as a result of the reduction of the excise duty on fuels.

This measure is presented as a response to the rising cost of living, which has affected the budgets of the population due to increases in fuel, energy, and gas prices. Ivan emphasized that the reduction in the price of diesel is the result of collaboration with the PSD team and that other measures will follow to limit the effects of price increases.

At the same time, Ivan launched a political attack against Ilie Bolojan, accusing him of asking Romanians to bear the price increases and to make savings. He stated that the reduction in diesel prices is just the first step in a series of measures aimed at protecting the purchasing power of Romanians. A reduction of 68 bani per liter would mean a saving of 34 lei for a 50-liter tank, if this decrease is fully reflected in the pump price.
