PNL Senator Glad Varga announced the withdrawal from Parliament of the 'Golden Visa Romania' project, following the analysis conducted by the Supreme Council of National Defense and the viewpoints received from state institutions. The project, initiated by Varga to attract investments and stimulate economic development, was deemed necessary to improve Romania's competitiveness in attracting foreign investors.

Varga emphasized that the current regulation imposes difficult conditions for obtaining residency rights, and his project included security measures, including the verification and preliminary approval of investments. The withdrawal was considered a correct decision to ensure a transparent and responsible framework for attracting capital to Romania.
