The Mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, announced the start of the installation of the metal deck at the road overpass at Apărătorii Patriei, with traffic restrictions during the night.

Daniel Băluță, the mayor of Sector 4, stated that the works on the underpass at Apărătorii Patriei have begun with the installation of the metal deck, estimating its completion by the end of the year. Although traffic restrictions will be maintained during the night, the mayor emphasized that the ramps are nearly finished, and the utilities have been relocated.

The total value of the investment is 120 million lei. The underpass will help to ease traffic in the area, having an intermodal hub for connections between public transport. Băluță expressed concerns about the future of local investments, citing a destructive approach by the current government, which could affect the ability of municipalities to complete infrastructure projects.
