The National Cathedral will be open for visits between December 24 and January 8

The Romanian Patriarchate announced that the National Cathedral will be open daily, between December 24, 2025, and January 8, 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00, for pilgrims and visitors from the country and abroad, on the occasion of the celebrations of the Nativity of the Lord, New Year, and the Baptism of the Lord. It is important to mention that during this period, the Cathedral will be open only for visiting, without the celebration of liturgical services, which will continue to take place in the historic Patriarchal Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helena and at the Chapel of the National Salvation Cathedral. After January 9, 2026, the National Cathedral will be temporarily closed for the continuation of interior works.
