The story of the Monte Carlo restaurant begins in 1926, when it was designed by architect State Baloșin, but it was destroyed in the earthquake of 1940. Rebuilt in the 1960s under the name 'Braseria Cișmigiu', the restaurant served as a recreational place for workers. Recently, it was taken over by the City Grill group, which plans a transformation to attract generations Z and Y, offering a different experience compared to other locations in the network.
