The molecular disintegration station for waste in Cluj, the first of its kind in Europe, uses an innovative Romanian technology to transform household waste into green energy, without smoke or residues. With a processing capacity of 60,000 tons per year, the station will produce approximately 56,000 megawatts of energy, enough to power a town of 25,000 residents.

The President of the Cluj County Council, Alin Tișe, emphasized that this Romanian invention will not only generate energy but will also bring in revenue from waste management. The inventor, Szakacs János, mentioned that most of the invested funds have remained in Romania, and local authorities from other counties are interested in adopting this eco-friendly solution for waste management.
