The two girls aged 4 and 5, Rebeca and Melisa, were found safe after disappearing on Sunday from a yard in Târnăveni, Mureș County. Their disappearance was reported to the authorities, and the search was coordinated by the Romanian Police, with the support of volunteers. The two girls were last seen on Sunday at 2:00 PM, and the search began immediately after their disappearance. The girls were discovered by a forest ranger in a wooded area, about 4 kilometers from the locality, after a night of intense searching. The authorities issued RO-ALERT messages to request help from the community. After they were found, Rebeca and Melisa were transported to a medical facility for health assessment, considering the difficult conditions they had been in. The Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked everyone involved in the search operations, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and community involvement in saving the two girls.
