The Ministry of Transport has approved a new metro line, the M4, which will link North Station to Progressul Station.

The extension of Metro Line 4 has received the approval of the Technical-Economic Council of the Ministry of Transport. The project envisages 13 new stations over a distance of almost 12 km, with a total investment of €3.43 billion. Financing will come from non-reimbursable EU funds, the state budget and other sources. The tender for design and execution was launched by the City Hall of Sector 4, and the duration of the investment is 50 months.
