The Ministry of Health has announced the activation of action plans for hot days, requesting public health directorates, ambulance services, and emergency reception units to implement these measures to reduce health risks to the population in conditions of extreme temperatures.

Among the main measures are alerting and supplementing ambulance crews in areas with increased requests, checking the conditions of medical assistance in healthcare units, including the stocks of emergency medications, and collaborating with local authorities to set up points for distributing drinking water.

The Ministry recommends that the population stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and limit intense physical activities, paying special attention to children, the elderly, and people with chronic conditions. "A simple gesture, such as regular water consumption, can prevent serious health problems," emphasized the Ministry of Health.
