Representatives of the Ministry of Health have launched a call for all citizens to address their family doctor for free preventive consultations. Regardless of whether they are insured or not, everyone can benefit from periodic consultations. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of prevention for a healthy and independent life. Individuals aged between 18 and 39 can receive a free consultation annually for risk assessment, while those aged 40 and over can benefit from up to three free consultations per year. Depending on the identified risks, the doctor can issue referral tickets for free tests, including tests for cholesterol, blood sugar, colorectal cancer screening, and specific tests for women and men.
