The Ministry of Health will expand the network of mobile medical offices for prevention, reimbursed by CNAS, to ensure access to medical services in rural areas.

Alexandru Rogobete, the Minister of Health, announced on Facebook the plans to expand preventive medical services for all Romanians, including in hard-to-reach rural areas. The network of medical caravans will be expanded, and the services provided by them will be reimbursed by CNAS. Mobile medical offices will organize screenings for serious diseases, in partnership with hospitals and local organizations. The services will be available for both insured patients and those uninsured, thus ensuring equal access to health care.
