The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) warns Romanian citizens that, on October 8, traffic restrictions will be imposed in Bulgaria due to red and orange weather warnings for heavy precipitation. The affected regions include Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, and others. MAE provides useful information about the weather, roads, and customs regulations, available on official Bulgarian websites. Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Sofia. The Bulgarian coastal area has already been affected by torrential rains.
