The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) will participate, for the first time, in the event 'Museum Night', which will take place on Saturday, between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM, at the MFA information office, located at Calea Victoriei no. 88. The exhibition titled 'Romanian Democracy - Beginnings' will present original documents, recently declassified, that reflect the reactions of the Romanian authorities to important historical events, such as the return of King Michael I and the Mineriad of June 13 - 15, 1990.
These documents, prepared between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 1992, will be available to the public due to a recent government decision regarding their declassification. In the following period, the documents will be inventoried, processed archivally, and digitized, and will be accessible as they are prepared according to archival standards. 'Museum Night' is a large cultural project, now in its 22nd edition in Romania, which brings together over 300 museums and cultural institutions open to the public.
