The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has announced two new flights operated by FlyDubai to bring back Romanians stranded in the Middle East. These are scheduled for March 4, 2026, at 18:35, and March 5, 2026, at 03:30.
The MFA specifies that these flights are intended for those who have received rebooked tickets and are requested to present themselves at the airport according to the instructions.
"Those who have received boarding tickets are requested to go to the airport in Dubai according to the airline's instructions, after checking the security conditions and confirming with the airline that the flight has not been canceled," the MFA stated on Facebook, after a FlyDubai flight was canceled last night.
In the context of the escalating conflict in the region and the closure of airspaces, the MFA continues its repatriation efforts, with over 300 Romanians already brought home and approximately 3,000 requests for support for return.
The spokesperson of the MFA, Andrei Țărnea, acknowledged the difficulties encountered by citizens in contacting consular authorities, emphasizing that consular staff has been reinforced to manage the large number of calls.
