In a single day, the Ministry of Finance borrowed over 1 billion lei through two issues of government bonds, according to BNR. The first issue attracted 396.8 million lei with a yield of 7.48%, while the second attracted 648.4 million lei with a yield of 7.27%. Plans for September 2025 include total borrowings of nearly 7 billion lei, intended for refinancing public debt and covering the budget deficit.
