The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA) will financially support the reconstruction of the building on Calea Rahovei in Bucharest, affected by a recent explosion. Minister Cseke Attila announced an emergency ordinance project that will allow the funding of consolidation works for buildings with high seismic risk, including those affected by accidental disasters. The project provides for the modification of the legal framework to include the demolition and construction of new buildings, taking into account their vulnerability to earthquakes.

For the building on Calea Rahovei, a technical expertise and a report on the cause of the accident are necessary. The new buildings will be state-owned and will be allocated to former owners with a lifetime lease. Additionally, the regulatory act extends the duration of national investment programs for schools and hospitals until 2028. MDLPA emphasizes the importance of reducing seismic risks and strengthening public infrastructure for the safety of citizens.
