The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, stated that Romanian doctors who wish to return to the country face a "painful obstacle" represented by bureaucracy and the interests in hospitals that hinder their professional recognition. He emphasized that many Romanian doctors who left for Europe want to come back, but they encounter administrative delays, such as waiting for approvals and signatures. Rogobete proposed a legislative change that would allow Romanian doctors in Europe to transfer directly to vacant positions in Romania, promoting transparency and fairness in the hiring process.

The minister stated that he is determined to open the system for well-trained young people with international experience, and promised that he would publish information about vacant positions on the Ministry of Health's page.
