Radu Miruță, the Minister of Economy, announced that the method of appointing the management of ROMARM was submitted today to the Prosecutor's Office for verification.

The Control Body's report highlighted irregularities in the selection process, where subordinates were involved in appointing leaders, which led to conflicts of interest. Miruță emphasized the importance of transparent and efficient leadership for the national defense industry, considering the negotiations for advantageous contracts. He also mentioned that the current director was not appointed by him and that there are suspicions regarding the documents submitted in the selection process. The minister requested quick clarifications from the competent authorities to ensure the integrity of the company.
