The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Romania welcomed the publication of the annual package on the enlargement of the European Union, which highlights the progress made by the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the accession process. The MFA supports Moldova's ambitious goal of concluding accession negotiations by the beginning of 2028 and appreciates the significant reforms undertaken by the Moldovan authorities, despite external challenges.

Furthermore, the MFA reaffirms its support for Ukraine's European path and endorses the opening of negotiations on the accession clusters. Romania is committed to supporting Moldova and Ukraine in their European integration and emphasizes the importance of the Black Sea region in the EU enlargement strategy.
