Robert Negoiță, the first reaction after the start of the DNA investigation: "I did not build any public road for my brother. I built public roads for Sector 3"

The Mayor of Sector 3 of the Capital, Robert Negoiță, is under investigation by the DNA for corruption, being accused of constructing public roads without the appropriate authorization. In a press conference, Negoiță stated that the roads were built for Sector 3, emphasizing that they are accessible to all citizens. He denied having built a road for his brother, explaining that he did not pay compensation to a private owner, which he considers to be a disservice.

Additionally, Negoiță claimed that the City Hall has prevented his team from obtaining all the necessary documents. The DNA investigation targets offenses akin to corruption, and on Thursday, 11 searches took place, including at the mayor's residence and at the Sector 3 City Hall. The Prefect of the Capital mentioned that the works were carried out without authorization, being conducted on a gas main.
