The manager of the Caransebeș Municipal Emergency Hospital has been detained by the DNA for bribery.

Singh Bhupinder, the manager of the Caransebeș Municipal Emergency Hospital, was detained by DNA prosecutors in Timișoara for bribery, being accused of accepting the promise of a sum of 250,000 lei to preferentially award a repair contract. The investigation also targets a county councilor and a businessman, and searches took place in several locations, including Bhupinder's home, where considerable amounts of money were seized. He was appointed manager of the hospital in May 2025, having a prior career in the medical field.
