Florența emphasized that there are indications that the introduction of the weaponry was facilitated by airport officials, suggesting a support network.

The separate investigation targets details such as the number of flights from Congo to Romania and the individuals involved in these operations. Potra, detained in Dubai at the end of September, is suspected of attempting actions against the constitutional order, with arrest warrants issued in his name and that of other individuals. Romanian authorities are collaborating with the United Arab Emirates for his extradition.
