According to data published by the National Institute of Statistics, industrial production prices in Romania recorded an increase of 4.8% in November 2025 compared to the same month in 2024.

In October 2025, prices increased by 0.3%. The most significant annual increases were observed in sectors such as the extraction of superior and inferior coal, with an increase of 12.14%, followed by water distribution, sanitation, and waste management (+11.32%), manufacturing of tobacco products (+9.47%), and repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery and equipment (+9.09%).
