Woman from Cluj killed while defending her daughter from her ex-boyfriend. The attacker had a restraining order.

A 36-year-old woman from the Luna commune, Cluj County, died after intervening to protect her 18-year-old daughter from her ex-boyfriend, a 24-year-old man.

According to information that emerged in the press, the aggressor allegedly first attacked the girl's current boyfriend, then went to her home, where he stabbed the young woman, her 16-year-old sister, and their mother. The girls' mother died from her injuries.

Following the incident, the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police sent a control team to the Cluj Police Inspectorate to verify how the situation was managed and the previous police interventions.
