The Romanian government has on the agenda of Friday's meeting a draft resolution aimed at withdrawing the public utility status recognized for the Association of International Law and International Relations, established in 2002 by Adrian Năstase. The founding members include personalities such as Mircea Geoană, Mugur Isărescu, Teodor Meleșcanu, Dan Berindei, and Emil Hurezeanu, with its headquarters located at Kiseleff Road, no. 47. The objective of the association is to develop scientific activity in the field of international law and political relations, focusing on current issues of Romanian foreign policy. The public utility status grants non-governmental organizations certain advantages, including institutional credibility and the right to manage public assets. The withdrawal of this status could affect the association's ability to carry out activities in the public interest.
