The purpose of this measure is to streamline the process of collecting fines and eliminate delays in transferring amounts to local budgets. The normative act provides for the opening of a single account and the use of a single record for contravention reports. The opposition has expressed concerns about possible delays in the collection of fines by local budgets, although the government has assured that the amounts will be transferred automatically. The project was developed in accordance with Law no. 203/2018 and the Road Code, establishing payment methods, including through various banking methods and in cash at Treasury units.
