In the meeting on Thursday, the Government decided to grant an emergency aid of 9,000 lei for each of the 49 people who have lost their jobs due to the reduction of activity at SAL SIND SRL in Praid, Harghita County, as a result of the floods. The aid will be provided regardless of the beneficiaries' income and will be aimed at supporting them in overcoming the difficult situation and reducing the risk of social exclusion. The payments will be made by postal order or into a bank account, depending on the option expressed by the beneficiaries. The necessary funds will be allocated from the budget of the Ministry of Labor for the year 2025. The Minister of Labor, Marius Manole, emphasized the importance of this support, highlighting that, although financial aid cannot fully compensate for the losses suffered, it represents a sign of solidarity from the state.
