Ioana Dogioiu, the spokesperson for the Government, stated that as part of the administration reform, there will not be a fixed percentage salary cut, such as 10%. Instead, the personnel expenditure fund will be reduced, and each budgetary authority will have the freedom to decide how to implement this reduction.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan mentioned that ministries should consider a reduction in salary expenses of up to 10% next year, through various measures, including staff reductions or adjustments to bonuses. Additionally, the president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that the party does not support salary cuts in the public sector, emphasizing that discussions on central administration are still open within the coalition.
