The head of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the Focșani – Adjud motorway sector will open on December 23, 2025, at 11:00, thus adding 50 new kilometers to the Moldova Motorway (A7) before Christmas. This will allow continuous traffic for approximately 250 km from Bucharest to Adjud.

Pistol emphasized that, in 2025, 146 km were added to Romania's high-speed road network, and next year the completion of A7 from Ploiești to Pașcani is expected. He highlighted the importance of rapid mobility for the economic development of Moldova and thanked the workers who are working under difficult conditions to improve the road infrastructure. After the completion of the works, it is estimated that it will be possible to travel approximately 375 km of motorway between Bucharest and Pașcani.
