In the spring of 2023, the police fined a car parked illegally on a sidewalk, even though its owner had passed away in July 2020. The woman's brother contested the fine, arguing that his sister could not have parked the car in 2023, presenting the death certificate as evidence.

The court rejected the request to annul the fine, not on the merits of the case, but on a procedural issue, reasoning that the brother does not have active procedural standing, as the fine was in the name of the deceased. The decision is not final and can be appealed within 30 days.
