The exhibition 'Great Masters of Romanian Art' will open on February 5 at Epoca Agape in Craiova, featuring works from the Vâlcov Collection displayed for two days. Admission is free for the public and collectors. The event offers the opportunity to view works signed by renowned artists, such as Nicolae Grigorescu and Pablo Picasso, before the auction scheduled for February 17 at the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace in Bucharest.

The Vâlcov Collection, created over ten years, includes valuable works, and their sale is part of the enforcement procedure initiated by ANAF to recover damages from the 'Paintings Case', in which Darius Vâlcov was convicted for influence peddling and money laundering. The auction will allow anyone to participate, and the starting prices for the works are considered accessible for collectors.
