Cseke Attila announced further details about an emergency ordinance aimed at reforming public administration. This introduces mobility through rotation of leadership public functions, limiting to a maximum of two mandates of five years for public positions and two mandates of three years for senior public officials. Cseke emphasized that this mechanism, inspired by the practice of the European Commission, could improve public service in Romania. Additionally, the ordinance proposes the possibility of exercising public functions part-time, facilitating collaboration between municipalities to ensure specialists in areas such as urban planning or public procurement. Other measures include evaluating officials based on competencies and performance indicators, as well as reducing the number of members in the offices of dignitaries to one position, both at the central and local levels. These reforms are intended to optimize the functioning of public administration.
