The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) announced that, starting from July 3, 2026, egg noodles have been officially included in the National Register of Traditional Recipes.
This recognition assures consumers that the noodles are made according to strict standards, using high-quality ingredients, without hidden additives. A traditional recipe includes a detailed list of raw materials, proportions, and technological processes, proving its use before 1975. Producers can offer six varieties, ranging from noodles with two eggs to those with ten eggs per kilogram of flour. MADR emphasizes that each stage of production is monitored, thus ensuring a final product that retains its shape and elasticity after boiling.
Currently, the National Register of Traditional Recipes includes 46 products.
