Two days after the launch of the e-My Health platform, the Government announces measures to resolve the enrollment problems through ROeID. Approximately 25,000 requests to validate digital identities are pending, amid an average flow of 10,000 new requests per day.
Interim Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu acknowledged that the registration process caused difficulties from the very first day and announced that the authorities had identified solutions to speed up verifications. The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania currently has 40 people trained for validation, and the team will be supplemented with 19 employees. The Government estimates that the outstanding requests will be resolved in approximately one week.
In the medium term, the authorities want to fully automate validation through ROeID and are preparing an enrollment alternative, which is expected to become operational in the coming weeks.
Launched on September 1 by the National Health Insurance House, the platform aims to provide access to medical history, reimbursements, appointments, and medical service providers. However, users have reported authentication and registration errors.
