A detachment of American soldiers will be deployed in Romania for the DYNAMIC FRONT 26 exercise, the largest artillery exercise of the USA in Europe.

From January 26 to February 13, 2026, Romania will host the multinational exercise DYNAMIC FRONT 26, the largest interoperability exercise of the U.S. Army's artillery in Europe. According to the Chief of the Defense Staff, American soldiers will bring modern equipment, including Abrams tanks, as part of the Alliance's efforts to strengthen security in the region.

The exercise aims to apply the Deterrence Line of the Eastern Flank and integrate effects in the land, air, maritime, cyber, and space domains. Activities include live fire exercises in several allied states, with Romania playing a central role through the Cincu Training Area. On February 9, a Media Day will take place, where participants will be able to observe the exercises and attend a press conference. Structures from the United States, Romania, Poland, and France will participate in the event, highlighting international cooperation in the field of defense.
