The drone that fell on Friday in the area of the locality Greci, Tulcea County, was neutralized by a controlled detonation by a team from the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of National Defense announced that it discovered debris from a drone on Friday near the locality of Greci, in the Măcin Mountains, where traces of combustion were also identified on a limited area.

At the scene, a specialized team was sent with an IAR-330 Puma SOCAT helicopter of the Romanian Air Forces to assess the debris and neutralize it. The search and identification actions involved collaboration between the Ministry of National Defense, military firefighters, Border Police crews, and forestry personnel. The drone was neutralized at 20:13 through controlled detonation, thus ensuring safety conditions for the community.
