At the end of the year, the contract with the Ukrainian partners of the Dolphinarium in Constanța will expire, and four out of the five dolphins may leave. Director Dănuț Dincă mentions the financial difficulties and the failed negotiations for the acquisition of dolphins from Cuba. Despite these challenges, a new pool is being built, and local authorities are exploring options to bring in five new dolphins, including discussions with private owners. The dolphinarium remains a popular tourist attraction, and collaboration with the Ukrainian side is not ruled out.
