During the modernization works at Neamț Monastery, a legendary tunnel was discovered, which is believed to date back to the time of Stephen the Great. The tunnel, initially considered a legend, was found by a young man who filmed a deep niche. The abbot of the monastery explained that the tunnel, which is in good condition, includes a room where food was stored and where priests and believers could take shelter. Archaeologists are now called to conduct research to confirm the origins of this tunnel.
