Monica Tripon, a journalist with a career of over 30 years, has passed away, and the news was announced by her colleagues at the Făclia newspaper in Cluj-Napoca. Tripon was known for her impactful social articles, interviews, and reports conducted both in the country and abroad, including for the page dedicated to spiritual themes. She was a founding member of the Union of Professional Journalists in Romania and the author of several volumes. The Diocese of Cluj-Gherla paid tribute, highlighting her dedication to fostering good understanding between Churches. Her last post on social media was just four days before her death, leaving an emotional message for the community.
