The road built by the mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoiță, on land owned by his brother and which is the subject of a DNA case was constructed without authorization over gas pipelines, according to the prefect of the Capital, Andrei Nistor.
These roads were built without authorization on private land, including on the property of Mayor Robert Negoiță's brother, who is being investigated by the DNA for corruption. Nistor mentioned that, although the area has developed, the constructions were done hastily, without respecting legal norms, which could have led to serious accidents.
"I noticed something sad, it was built without authorization, over a gas main, on private land, it wasn't even the municipality's land. There were some former dirt roads there, some alleys, practically, over which the Municipality of Sector Three built," said the prefect on Digi24. According to him, an explosion like the one in Rahova could have occurred in the area.
He also emphasized that the Municipality of Sector 3 has failed to address the issues, citing a lack of contractors. Following inspections, one road was closed, and Negoiță rejected the accusations, claiming that the roads existed before the gas pipelines were installed.
