Owners of hybrid cars would benefit from a 30% reduction in the car tax, while taxes for vehicles with larger engines will increase significantly. The project also includes fees for parking, organizing events, and filming in public spaces, with varying rates. Criticisms have arisen regarding the taxes on housing and inconsistencies in the car tax. Bucharest residents can submit proposals until December 22, 2025.
