On the night from Monday to Tuesday, the City Hall began to remove the first illegal advertisements that were placed without approval on public lighting poles, including in the city center. The action was carried out by the employees of the Bucharest Local Police and the Municipal Public Lighting Company, who removed 62 vertical banners from Calea Floreasca, working between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM to avoid disrupting traffic.

The City Hall announced that the removal actions will continue in the following evenings, targeting other streets as well. Additionally, local police have removed the first 12 advertising prisms illegally placed on sidewalks. Furthermore, the City Hall will soon introduce a Street Advertising Regulation, according to statements from the general mayor Ciprian Ciucu.
