The Bucharest Court of Appeal suspended the contract for Section 4 of the A8 Highway Târgu Neamț-Iași-Ungheni

The Bucharest Court of Appeal admitted the complaints filed by Construcții Erbașu, Concelex SRL, and the ITINERA S.P.A.-SAIPEM S.P.A.-ICM S.P.A. Association against the decision of the National Council for Solving Contests (CNSC) regarding the design and execution contract for Section 4 of the A8 Highway Târgu Neamț-Iași-Ungheni.

The court decided to suspend the contract until the final resolution of the case, setting a new deadline for September 30, 2026. The contract was signed on July 2, 2026, with the ITINERA-SAIPEM-ICM Association, following a favorable decision from the CNSC. Section 4, with a length of 15.5 kilometers, is the last segment of the Târgu Neamț-Iași-Ungheni Highway, part of the A8 Unification Highway.
