The body of former PSD deputy, Mugurel Surupăceanu, was found hanged in an annex of the house in Târgu Jiu

The body of former PSD deputy and businessman Mugurel Surupăceanu was found hanging in an annex of his house in Târgu Jiu, Gorj County. The woman, aged 35 and mother of three children, was discovered by her father, who alerted the authorities.

At the scene, the ambulance crew performed resuscitation maneuvers, and the woman was transported in serious condition to the Târgu Jiu County Emergency Hospital. Subsequently, she was intubated and will be transferred to the University Hospital in Bucharest by a SMURD helicopter.

The police have been notified and have opened a criminal case to investigate the circumstances of the incident. Authorities continue their investigations under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to clarify all the details of this tragic event.
